In 1940, the founding members of the Texarkana Employees FCI Federal Credit Union were granted a charter with the National Credit Union Administration. Our membership field included the employees and their immediate families of the Texarkana Federal Correctional Institution. This Credit Union is a not for profit financial cooperative that is owned by the people who use it and is governed by a volunteer Board of Directors. We were created to help ourselves in our financial needs.
