Our Credit Union was founded in 1952 to serve the employees of the Brunswick Corporation Marion, VA operations. We expanded our field of membership in 1993 to include employees of several Select Employee Groups and their family members. In 1997, we became a community chartered credit union serving Smyth, Wythe, and Washington counties. Kern's Federal Credit Union merged with our credit union in 1998. Our credit union has grown from seven charter members to over 4,000 members!
