Founded in 1945, RTN is one of the largest credit unions in Massachusetts, with over $900 million in assets, nearly 50,000 members and 20 branches. RTN Federal Credit Union serves more than 1,100 sponsor groups including two major employers in Massachusetts – Raytheon Company and Brigham and Women’s Hospital. All deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA) to at least $250,000. IRA funds are separately insured to $250,000. All funds in excess of NCUA limits are insured in full by the Massachusetts Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC).
