Campus Credit Union was formed in May 1952 to serve the faculty, staff and students of Wichita State University. Today, we serve anyone who has ever worked at, taught at or took classes from a Kansas University, College, Technical School or Trade School or any of their branches. We are a not-for-profit, member-owned financial cooperative. Since Campus Credit Union is a cooperative, we are owned by our members and instead of paying profits to a shareholder, we pay you the profits in the form of higher savings rates, lower loan rates and lower fees. Just like most other financial institutions, Campus Credit Union's accounts are insured up to $250,000 by NCUA.
