CME Federal Credit Union was established in 1935 by the City of Columbus Firefighters. A few years later, CME began serving employees of the City of Columbus Division of Police. CME then expanded to serve everyone in the Columbus area, including Delaware, Fairfield, Franklin, Licking, Madison, Morrow, Pickaway and Union counties.
