First Choice Federal Credit Union was originally chartered in 1952. At the time we were known as the B&O New Castle Employees Federal Credit Union and were the primary credit union of the Baltimore – Ohio Railroad, the current CSX Corporation. Through the years we were able to grow our field of membership by taking in SEGs or Select Employee Groups. We have also always offered full family membership. Any family member of an existing member is eligible to join and take full advantage of membership. In 2000, we expanded our field of membership to open our doors to include anyone who lives, works, volunteers, or attends church or school in Lawrence County. Along with our new charter came our new name and new location.
