Guthrie Federal Credit Union (GFCU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative. With their headquarters in Sayre, P.A. and a branch location in Troy, P.A. their employees serve the needs of approximately 7,300 members. GFCU also provides its members with over 30,000 surcharge-free ATM's across the country through the CO-OP ATM network. Guthrie Federal Credit Union is a member owned institution with assets of $74 million. The credit union was originally chartered on March 14, 1979 as the Packer-Guthrie Federal Credit Union. On November 6, 1989, Packer-Guthrie Federal Credit Union changed its name to Guthrie Federal Credit Union.
