The credit Union started in 1937 as Davidson Clyde Federal Credit Union, in 1945, it became the Clyde Porcelain Federal Credit Union. On May 26, 1994, we changed our charter from federal to state. This charter allowed us to offer additional services to our Membership and we became the Clyde-Findlay Area Credit Union. Our new charter also allows us to expand our field of Membership to include individuals who live, work, worship or attend school in Sandusky, Seneca or Hancock Counties in Ohio.
