In 1998, on our 50th birthday, we changed our name to Mazuma, the Yiddish word for money. Fast forward to the present day, we still love Kansas City just as much as Joe did when he founded Mazuma, and we're proud to continue his tradition of giving back by taking an active role in the arts, financial education and community development.
