Montana Health Federal Credit Union was organized and chartered as St. V’s Federal Credit Union in May 1964. Membership was designed to serve the employees of St. Vincent’s Hospital, as well as the employees of the offices of two local area doctors. In July 2008, Montana Health Federal Credit Union was granted a charter change to a Trade, Industries, and Professions charter. The new charter expands the potential field of membership of the credit union to 20 Montana counties and 5 Wyoming counties. Anyone working in a healthcare profession is eligible to join the credit union.
