The NLREFCU is a not-for-profit organization that is owned and operated by its members - the active and retired employees of the North Little Rock School District and their immediate families. All Credit Union officials are members of the Credit Union and have been elected by the membership at the Annual Meeting. Credit Unions have an advantage over banks because they offer low minimum balances to open an account and the only membership fee/service charge is a one-time $1 membership fee. Additionally, Credit Union members can take advantage of Signature and Seasonal Loans not typically offered by banks. We also offer loans on new and used vehicles, as well as opportunities to refinance vehicle loans from other credit agencies.
