On January 8, 1942 at the Painesville City Garage, a small group of employees saw the need to organize the credit union for city employees. No history of this Credit Union would be complete without recognizing our appreciation to the Painesville City Administration for their cooperation and help initiating this endeavor. We have been very fortunate that the Painesville City Schools soon became a Select Employee Group (SEG) along with several other local companies that helped us to grow into the successful entity we are today. In 2012 we expanded our field of membership and are proud to serve all who live work worship or attend school in Lake County. Our success is a tremendous tribute to you, the members, for your continued loyalty and to the many volunteers and staff for their dedication, conscientious effort, knowledge and leadership. Our confidence in the future is based upon the confidence in our credit union members and together we will accept new challenges and take advantage of new opportunities.
