Palmetto Health Credit Union (PHCU) is a not-for-profit financial cooperative owned by its members and governed by a member-elected Board of Directors with the stated purpose of serving its members'/owners' financial needs. PHCU is a South Carolina state-chartered financial institution supervised by the South Carolina Department of Banking and is also federally insured by the National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund, which is regulated by the National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the federal government.
