River Town Federal Credit Union, formerly Sparks Federal Credit Union, was formed in 1958 as a state chartered credit union by a group of Sparks Hospital employees wanting the benefit of savings and loan products. Employees of current employer group members are eligible to join River Town Federal Credit Union. Also, your immediate family members are eligible for membership. Immediate family includes: spouse, children, siblings, parents, grandparents, grandchildren, step-children, step-siblings, adoptive relationships and persons living in the same household. “Household” is defined as persons living in the same residence, maintaining a single economic unit. An individual may be considered to be living in the same household although he or she is temporarily absent from the residence, such as children in college or the military.
