Superior Credit Union is a full-service financial co-operative. Employees, members, and business partners have joined together to provide low-cost, high-yield financial services to each other. We are democratically controlled by our volunteer Board of Directors that are elected by and from our membership. Superior Credit Union was founded in 1956 by and for the employees of Superior Tube Company as an independent organization. We are chartered by the Pennsylvania Department of Banking and our members’ deposits are insured by the National Credit Union Administration membership. The latest addition to our field of membership came in July ‘08, when we expanded our charter to include anyone who lives, works, worships, or attends school in Montgomery County, PA.
