The credit union was chartered in 1955 with 100 members and honorary board member, Karl Benesch, serving as the first treasurer. The credit union has now grown to approximately 400 members with assets totaling approximately $2,000,000.00. All accounts are federally insured up to $250,000.00 to every member at no cost to the member. Optional Credit Disability Insurance and Credit Life Insurance are offered to loan customers. Certain age and balance restrictions apply and will be disclosed upon activating membership, or by request.
