Our credit union was originally chartered in 1962 by a group of plant workers under the name DuPont Beaumont Works Employee Federal Credit Union. In 2005, the credit union merged with Goodrich Community Credit Union and changed its name to DuPont Goodrich Federal Credit Union. After the merger, "dugood" was used for our web URL as a shortened version of the name, and immediately members began calling themselves "DuGood members." As we continued our work in the community, we became known as "DuGood Credit Union." The name was a natural fit because giving back was - and still is at the heart of everything we do!
