Fort Leavenworth Credit Union, serving personnel at Fort Leavenworth and their families, was chartered on April 6, 1954 with eight members. The year 2005 was a big one for the credit union’s history. We changed our name from Fort Leavenworth Credit Union to Frontier Community Credit Union. We opened our field of membership to include people living or working in the surrounding communities. Finally, we opened our Eisenhower Road branch, which serves as our main office to this day.
