Wildfire Credit Union, originally known as Saginaw Telephone Employees Credit Union, first began operating on September 9, 1937. Membership is now available to persons who live, work, worship, or attend a school in the following counties: Saginaw, Bay, Midland, Genesee, Gratiot, Shiawassee, Tuscola, Isabella, Gladwin, Arenac, Clare, Iosco, Ogemaw, Roscommon, Missaukee, Wexford, Crawford, Kalkaska, Grand Traverse, Benzie, Otsego, Antrim, and Leelanau.
