County Schools Federal Credit Union opened on January 14, 1960, as Ventura Schools Federal Credit Union. A group of eight educators had a vision to create a not-for-profit financial cooperative to serve the educational community in Ventura County, embracing the credit union motto of “people helping people.” County Schools Federal Credit Union continues to support Ventura County's educational community and their families while educating members and the community about financial awareness.
