Ventura County Credit Union started in 1950, where it began operating out of the County Courthouse, just beneath a stairwell. Starting with just a few employees and one volunteer with a cash drawer, we began helping members with their financial goals. Back then our philosophy was simple: people helping people. This philosophy is no different today and we continue to strive to help members meet their financial goals every day. Today, VCCU has expanded to over $800 million in assets and more than 80,000 members with even greater expected expansion ahead.
